PHENYLEPHRINE HCL….5MG, CPM….2MG - Chlorpheniramine Maleate + Paracetamol + Phenylephrine is a combination of three medicines that treats the symptoms of the common cold: Chlorpheniramine, Paracetamol, and Phenylephrine. Chlorpheniramine is an antiallergic medication that reduces allergy symptoms such as runny nose, watery eyes, and sneezing. Paracetamol is both an analgesic and an antipyretic. It inhibits the release of special chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and warmth. Phenylephrine is a nasal decongestant that constricts the small blood vessels in the nose, relieving congestion or stuffiness.
Take this medication by mouth as recommended by your doctor. Follow all directions on the product package when self-treating. If you have any concerns, consult your doctor or pharmacist. If stomach upset occurs, take this medicine with food. Unless otherwise ordered by your doctor, drink plenty of fluids.
If you are taking this medication in liquid form, measure the dose carefully with an appropriate measuring device/spoon. If you use a regular spoon, you may not get the exact dosage. If your liquid form is a suspension, shake the bottle well before each dose.
